Look at that! How amazing this griller is? This is not a typical barbecue griller and if you live in Korea you'd agree!

Do you love Korean barbecue? What is your favorite meat? Is "samgyupsal" pork belly the best?

Now back to our topic - the griller! What have you noticed so far? It seems like a multi-purpose one isn't it?

The center part is where we barbecue our favorite meat, that's usual! But look at the extra spaces of this round griller!

We have cheese melting with corn, egg and kimchi too! Isn't that cool? They put space for tasty side dishes!

And Korean barbecue is more enjoyable with these! It's also time saver as we cook them all together like that!

I love roasting kimchi as it is more enjoyable with pork! Also, dip my bbq on melting cheese with corn? olala

Another thing I like about this, the charcoals are prefectly ready! As you can see the flame isn't too strong and charcolas aren't black anymore! Coals are ready when covered with gray ash and that'll make your bbq well done beautifully!

I like to barbecue over ready charcoals because it won't overburn my meat. It'll be juicy and savory instead!

Samgyupsal it is! Pork belly is my best choice when it comes to Korean barbecue!

I like the 3 layer of meat-fat-meat combo and fat will make the bbq juicier!

It's Herb Samgyupsal. They just seasoned the pork belly with herbs and that's it!

This is the usual set up! There are side dishes tagging along and green leafy veggies are always on!

The side dishes and sauces will make your Korean bbq so enjoyable! Note, they aren't appetizers that you just eat them, you must eat them with the pork/meat bb! You savor them together! That's why Korean bbq is popular!

Alright, looking back to our unique Korean griller- the griller itself is made of stone. The ready charcoals are just in the middle and as it is made of stone, the heat transfers to the extra spaces for your side dishes- the cheese with corn, egg and kimchi. It's like a magical tool, we use to bbq hahah (because there are no charcoals under the side dishes).

Now put all your herb pork belly and barbecue! As you can see we can cook them all together- pork, egg and cheese starts to melt! It saves time and we can enjoy them all together as well! Even though the charcoals are covered with gray ash as you see it can make pork beautifully well-done or evenly cooked! It's juicy and savory!

Do you love white onions? White onions in Korea are a little sweet and not sappy! It is always so enjoyable with bbq!

But don't forget that special soy sauce! To make a tasty Korean bbq sauce, you just need soy sauce and white onions!

You may also add some wasabi for a kick of spice or minced green peppers! Oohhh delish!

Now here's another interesting part! Can you see the shift? Yep, the center part is detachable!

As we are about to barbecue another meat part, we must use a different griller!

The thick wires will be needed for meaty part! And charcoals are still intact though! They're not ashes yet!

Tada! This is near or around the rib part! There's some fat but mostly meat! Garlic sweet sauce tags along!

Oh, let me tell you about rib part! It's also one of the most delicious part! It is meaty and tender! You'll ask for more!

And this bbq I'll consider rib part, haha! But of course the real rib part is way better than this! Indeed!

So, this is the typical bbq house in Korea! The griller is on the table with smoke extractor hanging right above the grill!

It's always indoor and is cozy! You can enjoy unlimited bbq or up to the most expensive; beef, pork, chicken bbq etc!

The prices depend on every restaurant! We spent 30,000 KRW (25 USD) for this- pork belly and near rib part!
